FLASH NEWS
EVERY year, without miss, the STAR PSB will dedicate a week to have activities related to the resource centre. This year, the week twenty three of the school year, from 24th of July to 28th July 2006 will commence the STAR SMART RESOURCE CENTRE WEEK or in Malay, MINGGU PSB STAR 2006. We have prepared a lot of activities for the students like treasure hunt, public speaking and story teling and many more. Prizes were already wrapped and waiting eagerly to fall in the hands of the victorious. We would also give prizes to the students who reads the most, borrows the most and buys the most books.
THE PRESENT STAR HEAD BOY, NAQIB is reported to have suffered head injury when he played football at the recent school event. He was rushed to the hospital and was hospitalized. As when this news is reported here, he is in stable condition and still staying in the hospital. We, the PUSAT SUMBER BESTARI Management would like to give our best wishes to him and pray for his speed recovery. In the humble opinion of this webmistress, he has always been a good student and person and this news therefore grieves us a little. However, to those who knew him and would like to visit him, I was tol that he is in level 2A of the IPOH Hospital. To Naqib, take care and rest and return to STAR in perfect health, kay? 28 JUNE 2006
New PSB Building?
In his morning assembly speech, the school principal, Tuan Haji Shukor revealed that the shcool will be given fund to build another buildig to be the new library. However, it was not told when the project will commence, but most probably the library will be moved to the now single block building of the KH lab and Counselling Room. The library will perhaps be occupying the whole top floor of that building 16 JUNE 2006
New Semester
As the school opened again this 12th June, students are welcomed to PSB. However a little reminder to ALL STAR students who have borrowed books before the school holiday-you are to return the books or you will have to pay VERY EXPENSIVE FINES. 12 JUNE 2006
